Esra Güney Barış

Esra is the Founder and Managing Director of FarmaCity, managing the company’s operations in Turkey, Middle East, CIS and North Africa, holding 21 years of experience of working within the Life Sciences industries.

Passion to succeed and enthusiasm have always played an important part in Esra’s management style and FarmaCity has grown by 30% year on year since its establishment. Her experience covers start-up companies, generics, biotech, big pharma and medical devices across all functional areas at C level. She led the company to become a leading Life Sciences Executive Search consultancy in Turkey and the Middle East while serving major industry clients.

She also takes on a select number of Board and CXO search engagements.

She is a pharmacist, holding BSc from Istanbul University, Faculty of Pharmacy.

Esra is fluent in Turkish, English and intermediate in Spanish. She is a trained CTI Leadership Coach and a CTI Leadership Graduate, and Leadership Assessor.
